Gardening at a probate property

As another week draws to an end, the Clean For Ease team are extremely pleased with the outcome of their jobs and cleans this week. It has been another busy, fun-filled but tough week for everyone!

During the week, we completed a gardening job at a probate property in Chelmsford. We were tasked with clearing the garden and cutting back as much of the over growth as possible before the property is listed on the selling market. It is safe to say, the garden had not been maintained in quite some time and was like a jungle!

Our team worked hard and have made a massive difference. The garden is a lovely size and is now a welcoming open space that we are sure someone will love and enjoy.

Deep cleaning prior to a regular residential

Lately, we have had an influx of enquiries regarding residential cleaning slots here at Clean For Ease. This is great news and we always love to be busy in between end of tenancy cleans or bigger property projects that may be going on.

Prior to commencing a regular clean, we usually advise of a deep clean to be carried out of the property. This helps bring the property up to a manageable standard ready for regular maintenance. Areas of focus are generally bathrooms and kitchens but we are always flexible to focus on the clients needs.

Below are some of the before and after images taken from a deep clean. We are scheduled to reattend on a fortnightly basis in the coming weeks.

We always try to ensure you have the same cleaner each visit at the same time/day each visit. We provide all our own products and equipment, and we do not subcontract our cleaners, so all of our cleaners are employed under Clean For Ease. New Build Clean

This week, the Clean For Ease team attended a newly built property in Colchester.

At an after build clean, it is imperative we dust and vacuum everywhere in the property before attempting to clean. This helps minimise dust particles in the air settling on surfaces during our time at the property as this can cause the clean to become more time consuming than necessary. One dusted, we then commence the cleaning procedure.

A general clean is required throughout, focusing on walls, floors, kitchen surfaces and bathrooms. A build clean does require attention to detail, time and focus. One the cleaning is completed, the property is then ready for its next phase.

End of tenancy cleaning

This week has been very busy for the Clean For Ease Team! We have attended and completed on multiple end of tenancy cleans for various agents. This particular property was based in the Chelmsford area.

The property was a spacious one-bedroom apartment. Overall, the property was well maintained by the previous tenants but there were definitely areas of focus throughout. We also did an oven clean here as well.

During an end of tenancy, it is important to uphold a high standard of cleaning and attention to detail, especially in areas that are generally overlooked. Taking out plugs from sinks, ensuring grouting is fully clean plus the rubber seal and drawer from the washing machine are just some of these area.

Carpet cleaning

Another busy week for the Clean for Ease team! Our week has been filled with end of tenancies, cleaner for the days, decorating jobs plus oven and carpet cleaning so lots has been going on.

During the week, we visited a property in Chelmsford in which a client wanted all the carpets in their property cleaned before reletting with their agent from Beresfords. There were five bedrooms in total plus a lounge, a second reception room and the landing and stairs.

We worked on the edging of the carpets to remove the darkened areas. We also treated multiple stains which came up very well after deep cleaning. Although the carpets were quite tired, the overall impact deep cleaning them has made is great, plus they smell beautiful after cleaning.

2 Hour freshen up clean

This past week, our diary has been full to the brim of cleans for our clients. We have covered a range of Cleaner for the day packages, carpet cleaning, gardening jobs and also "spruce up" cleans like this one we will be covering.

This particular property we attended in Kelvedon, was booked in as a quick 2 hour freshen up. The client wanted a spruce up before reletting their property back out to new tenants. The property was not in bad condition at all so we focused on key areas that we feel would make the biggest impact for both the client and the new tenants that are due to move in.

Usually with cleans like these, we would generally focus on limescale around taps or shower screens, ensure grease is removed from cooking appliances, the toilet is clean and we always make sure the floors are left clean and sparkling.

We are really pleased with how this property has turned out after having a freshen up clean!

Carpet cleaning in Broomfield, Chelmsford

Our client was a lovely family based in Broomfield, Chelmsford. They wanted a clean of their property before the arrival of their new baby. At the property, we had two cleaners for the day attend. During the clean we also deep cleaned their oven and carpets as well.

The difference this has made to the property overall has been fabulous! The deep clean of the carpets has released a new lease of life into them and has completely transformed their living space. We were also able to remove some stubborn stains and left the rooms smelling beautiful and fresh.

One of this weeks cleans...

During the week, we quoted and cleaned a spacious three bedroom property in Kelvedon. We quoted for two cleaners for the day plus a professional carpet clean to one of the bedrooms. The outcome we wanted to achieve with this clean was to get it back to a fresh and clean standard ready for new tenants to move into.

We ensured that the bathroom and kitchen were key focus points during this clean and also ensured all the kitchen appliances had been deep cleaned too.

The lettings agent who we work closely with was very happy with the outcome as was the vacating tenant.

Plaque Treatment for Toilets: Feb 07, 2025

Plaque treatment . What is it?

As part of one of our cleans in Braintree this week, we were tasked with removing the plaque build up in and around the base of the toilet. Plaque can occur in heavy water areas and usually forms due to a build up of mineral deposits, (primarily calcium and magnesium) that is otherwise known as limescale . We used Spirit of Salts to treat the plaque and to get it looking clean again.

What a difference it has made!

Cleaner for half a day

This week we attended a property in Chelmsford for a client that wanted a mid tenancy clean to help keep on top of the more detailed areas of their home. After speaking with them regarding their cleaning needs, they decided to go ahead with a cleaner for half a day option. This consisted of a four hour clean that focused around the kitchen and the master bedroom ensuite.

Throughout the clean, we established key points of focus. There was a heavy grease build up under the top kitchen cupboards and also across the extractor fan. We also worked on some stubborn limescale around the kitchen sink tap.

Upstairs in the ensuite, the tiles had a heavy build up of grime and an onset on mould. There was also some limescale noted around the taps and shower screen which we also focused on.

All our cleaner for half a day options come with a cleaning report that details several before and after images of the clean. Our client was very satisfied with the outcome and gave us great feedback which we are delighted about too :)
